1st to explain the reason I wrote this essay. I have been gambling online or at land-based casinos for a great many years. I have discovered, the fixation can grab a hold of you and you will not even notice it up until you are flat broke. Particularly if you are on a winning run. I have gone through countless thousands of dollars in only a short amount of time and to this day on occasion, I’ll go too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you start to pay attention to your loss and the anguish sets in, and then you continue to tell yourself "I can win it back" constantly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your belly and the more you try the quicker you lose.
When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you start to lose, do not tell yourself, "well perhaps one more" and again and again, believe me, this plan RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set aside before beginning your action. DO NOT exceed that boundary, regardless how appealing. If you happen to win, put that in a different pot. Do not risk your successes no matter what. As soon as you’ve gambled through your original set limit, stop. Head out, whether it’s online or at a physical betting house, don’t stick around. Always keep in mind, there will be another day, another time.
Keep in mind, wagering should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you aren’t enjoying yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcan’t manage the loss, do not even start.
